On the front, it comes with curved 2.5D Corning Gorilla Glass and a fingerprint scanner that is claimed to unlock the phone in just 0.2 seconds.
  • The fingerprint scanner on-board can also activate select apps “by swiping the screen down towards the fingerprint sensor.” The fingerprint reader is also said to be water-resistant, according to Vivo. It further boasts of curved 2.5D Corning Gorilla Glass on the front.
  • The user interface comes with features like Smart Split multi-tasking which as the name suggests allows for split-screen multitasking on supported apps. The phone can also run multiple instances of the same app.

India price and availability: The Vivo V5s will be available for buying from both online and offline sales channels at a price of Rs 18,990 in India starting from May 6. The V5s will be available in the colours: Matte Black and Crown Gold.
