Samsung’s The Frame – Turns on as a TV, Turns off as a Frame!

The Frame is the TV that is designed for your space, with a true sense of style. Allowing you to display work from artists you really love, imagine what The Frame could do for your space.  -Samsung

Samsung made a spectacle of The Frame, a TV made to resemble a piece of artwork on your wall, back at CES this year, and now it’s finally making it available to purchase. The Frame will start at $1,999 for the 55-inch edition, while the 65-inch model will retail for $2,799.

At CES 2017 Samsung unveiled another new innovation in their TV lineup: The Frame. It shifts the paradigm of what a television can be; it’s not just a TV, it’s not just an entertainment hub—it adds value to your daily life, on or off.

The Frame offers the immersive picture quality that you expect from Samsung TVs, but also works as a stunning photo frame, allowing you to choose from a range of provided artwork, or easily upload your own. So when it’s not in use, it’s still a joy to look at.

Customers get a chance to choose the bezel colour and material, among other things, for an extra $200 or $250, depending on the size of the TV, because who doesn’t like a little touch of creativity and customisation? right!

Customers will also have access to 100 paintings and photographs from 37 artists and photographers to cycle through when they aren’t watching TV, and access to an Art Store to purchase more artwork.
