Teaser reveals Xiaomi Poco F1 to be Flipkart exclusive in India.

Well, we have been seeing a lot of Chinese mobile manufacturers leading the industry for the last years. Henceforth, Huawei beat Samsung and Xiaomi beat Samsung in India. That is pretty huge when it comes to the 21st-century stats. Well, we’ve got a pause on Xiaomi’s innovation as Oppo and Vivo are not taking a break with their releases. Xiaomi, on the other hand, is playing it slow with its devices.

So, Xiaomi is all set to launch its upcoming Poco F1 smartphone under its new Poco sub-brand on August 22. Now seems like the Poco F1 will be Flipkart exclusive in India. Therefore, It is a new project by Xiaomi, the Chinese electronics maker, that aims to deliver a smartphone with a focus on speed that we really want.

The teaser, however, does not reveal the name of the device but it just says that Something #AsFastAsYou is coming soon only on Flipkart! Poco F1 is already said to be Master of Speed via various teasers on social media by the company.

In-Depth

Still, Poco F1 has been teased to be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 SoC, and the brand’s marketing so far has focussed on ‘Speed’. Well, we can thus expect the upcoming Poco F1 to be ‘fast’ and priced aggressively.

We’ve also seen a teaser for the Poco F1 on e-tailer Flipkart with a dedicated page and not much is revealed about the smartphone apart from a few marketing lines that highlight the speedy performance of the device.

It will come with a 6.18-inch full-HD+ display that will an 18.7:9 aspect ratio. The Poco F1 is also rumored to come with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 SoC along with a liquid cooling system and a bunch of AI feature.

Wrap Up

Xiaomi Poco F1 will be boasting a dual camera set up at the back with a combination of 12-megapixel primary sensor and a 5-megapixel secondary sensor. For the front, it will have a 20-megapixel camera for selfies and video calling. Connectivity features for the phone will support dual-SIM, 4G VoLTE, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, GLONASS, 3.5mm audio jack and a USB Type-C port.

On the contrary, this device seems just to be a simple competition to other manufacturers. It might just be at par with the OnePlus 6 or maybe not. Depends on Xiaomi on how it will play along in the upcoming years.
