Soon you might be able to Summon Google Assistant just by Saying “Hey Google”

Starting from Android 4.4 KitKat, which was launched in 2013, the only way to pull up Google’s virtual assistant with your voice is “OK Google” hotword. That was changed a bit when the search engine giant Google launched Google Home which lets you summon The Almighty Google Assistant with both “OK Google” and “Hey Google” hotwords. This functionality seems to be coming to the phones very soon. Using it one can summon Google Assistant with both OK Google and Hey Google voice commands.

Support for hey Google command is not Universal yet. However, you will get a notification saying its availability and then you can update the Google app on Play Store from which you can get the ability to Train Your Google Assistant to listen for your voice commands when you say Ok Google or hey Google.
