Inbox by Gmail app is finally compatible with Apple iPhone X’s notch

In accordance to the promise made by Google back in April this year,  Google has finally made its inbox by Gmail app compatible with the display of the iPhone X’s notch. Which means you won’t see those ugly black bars at the top and bottom anymore.

A new update sized at approximately 144 MBs, has been pushed to the app, that changes the version to 1.3.180617 with a change log, “Now supports iPhone X”.

It is worth to mention that Apple has made it mandatory for app developers to make the app updates compatible with iPhone X’s notch.

According to Google’s release notes, no other new features were included in today’s update.  Google today also updated its standard Gmail app for iOS, introducing support for high-priority notifications for important messages.
