Apple’s AirPods have been amazingly successful in last couple of years. They have regularly been praised and consistently big sellers. With the introduction to AirPods, the number of headphones with wireless connectivity is increasing day by day, and so the competition. Surveys have claimed that AirPods owners have been very happy with their in-ear buds, with 98% or respondents either satisfied or very satisfied with them, as reported by Fortune.
Now it is time for the next generation of these Apple wireless devices. Hence we have some rumours regarding the next generation of AirPods, The AirPods 2 with some New features such as hands-free “Hey, Siri”. Probably, Apple is trying to stay in the Assistant based wireless headphones battle with Google and Amazon etc.
Improved electronics with biometrics and health monitoring were suggested to be on the cards. And just a couple of days ago, it was rumoured that the next AirPods would fix the current models’ problem: that they might slip out of your ears.
But here comes the bad news. The reliable leaker @OnLeaks has tweeted that we shouldn’t be getting excited about the new, upgraded earbuds just yet.
@OnLeaks correctly predicted the design of the iPad Pro last year, when I was decidedly skeptical, so he has a record of accurate leaks. What he says today sounds promising.
There might be a new case to be released when AirPower are released! I believe both will be formally unveiled at an Apple special event in March. Now lets talk about two new Cool features that might be coming to AirPods 2.
- The first cool feature is the wireless-chargeable case to go with AirPower.
- The second one is. you might be able to use Siri on AirPods hands-free!
Since wireless charging on headphones will be a step forward, anything else on top of that will be a proper treat. Stay tuned with us for more updates related to AirPods 2!
